The NEST technology

The NEST platform includes the RGS@Clinic (desktop computer), the RGS-Mobile (smartphone), the RGS-wear (wearable), and the AWA Coach interface (Artificial Wellbeing Assistant). Via its AI-based architecture, the AWA Coach provides autonomous personalized health advice, monitoring, and interventions in the form of structured and unstructured motor and cognitive tasks in a physical and social context.  Users (patients and clinicians) can interact with the NEST platform to program a rehabilitation routine, get updates on personal health and well-being states, as well as get recommendations.

  • Research Led – solutions grounded on neuro-rehabilitation principles

  • Data Driven – personalized patients’ rehabilitation program and recovery assessments

  • Results Orientated – development and clinical validation

Meet the Nest Consortium

The NEST consortium is structured along the notion of knowledge triangle integration, with partners forming a synergy between academia (Radboud University), SMEs (EOD), Hospitals or secondary end-users (Sint Maartens, Val d’Hebron, INRCA), and industry or tertiary end-users (Hankamp R). Industrial partners are specialized in the development and exploitation of rehabilitation technologies (HR), innovative neuro-rehabilitation ICT solutions, and services (Eodyne). Academy and clinical partners (RU, SM, VH, INRCA) will involve researchers, neuroscientists, doctors, and therapists.

The Future of Neurorehabilitation

NEST is multi-disciplinary consortium committed to the research and development of effective rehabilitation solutions after stroke.
